This session will explore some of the characteristics of high performing teams with particular reference to the experience at Peter Mac, a multi award winning fundraising team. Hear how high performing teams rely on a shared mission, vision, and aligned personal values to leverage their collective expertise and focus their individual efforts on achieving their common goal. Jennifer will discuss with participants key factors and stages in implementing effective, high-performance teams, such as - forming, storming, norming, performing (and perhaps mourning and retiring), managing emotions and group dynamics, developing cohesiveness, and getting team members inspired.
